Tradition meets Modern
Kato Martial Arts was born from a desire to grow beyond limits. For years, we were part of a larger federation teaching a single style of martial arts rooted in Chinese traditions, but we wanted more for our students. We wanted to explore, evolve, and create a place where martial artists of all ages could discover what they’re truly capable of.
Kato MA isn’t just about training in the dojo, dojang or doachang. It’s a mindset carried into everyday life, a commitment to growth, resilience, and community. It’s also about wearing what you love, sharing your passion, and equipping yourself with the tools to train, fight, and live with purpose.
From uniforms that feel like yours from day one, to gear that takes a beating as you level up your skills, to shirts that let the world know you train hard, the Kato Martial Arts Store is built for martial artists, by martial artists.
Every design we release has a story. Every type of kit is tested in real classes by real students and instructors before it lands in our store. We believe in training hard, having fun, and building a community that supports each other—on the mats and off.
Martial Artists Behind the Designs
Most of our designs are created by martial artists themselves—including our own students. From fun kawaii characters to bold slogans, we’ve got kids and adults alike coming up with ideas and helping shape what we make. Every piece is created with the same spirit we bring to class: work hard, have fun, and support each other.
