Overview
Kato Martial Arts primarily uses print-on-demand services through third-party providers. This means all items are produced specifically for your order, and as such, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect sizing, or preference.
We may offer a replacement or refund only if your item arrives misprinted, damaged, or defective, and this will follow the policies of our print provider (Inkthreadable). Any eligibility for a refund or replacement will be determined in line with their terms.
If you believe your item is defective or misprinted, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order at hello@katomartialarts.com with:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photographs showing the fault
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Refunds
Once your return request is reviewed and approved, we will notify you and either:
- Arrange for a replacement item, or
- Issue a refund to your original payment method.
Refund processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received an approved refund yet:
- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card company, as posting may take time.
- Contact your bank, as processing delays can occur.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or misprinted. We cannot offer exchanges for sizing or preference due to the nature of print-on-demand. If you need a replacement for a faulty item, please email hello@katomartialarts.com.
Shipping Returns
If a return is approved, we will provide instructions on where to send your item. Please do not send any products back without confirmation from us.
You will be responsible for any return shipping costs unless the item is confirmed as faulty or misprinted, in which case we will cover or reimburse reasonable shipping costs if applicable.
