Welcome to Part 2 of our Kato Self-Defence workshops! Building on our foundational training, this session is designed for individuals, friends, and family members to learn together in a supportive group environment. We believe that self-defence is not about fighting; it’s about making smart choices to stay safe. This isn’t about aggression; it’s about building a smart, resilient mindset through fun, interactive, and practical drills.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: STRICTLY AGES 8+ Please note: To properly equip our students for the modern world, this specific workshop covers mature self-defence themes, including age-appropriate weapon awareness (knife threats) and emergency escape protocols. Due to the nature of these subjects, attendance is strictly limited to ages 8 and above.

What You Will Learn

The skills taught in this workshop are designed to give you the confidence to avoid conflict and the ability to protect yourself if you have no other choice. In this powerful session, we will cover:

• ✅ Situational Awareness: How to spot and avoid trouble before it starts.

• ✅ Confident Body Language: The power of standing tall to deter bullies and threats.

• ✅ The Power of Your Voice: Using clear, strong commands to create boundaries.

• ✅ Simple & Safe Escapes: Easy-to-remember techniques for getting away safely from grabs or holds.

• ✅ Ground Survival: Basic defensive tactics if you are knocked to the floor.

• ✅ Weapon Awareness (Mature Theme): Crucial, age-appropriate protocols for creating distance, using barriers, and safely escaping if a weapon is drawn.
